NEW HOPE — Police in New Hope are searching for a suspect who robbed a liquor store and shot an employee.
Authorities say a man walked into Viking Liquors about 9:30 p.m. Thursday and demanded money. He pointed a handgun at two employees and fired one shot.
Police say the bullet struck one employee in the leg. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There's no immediate word on the condition of the employee.
