Stephanie Krienerput her best face forward and opened the doors of her new south Rochester business, Posh Facial Esthetics and Med Spa, on Thursday.
Even though it was the first day, clients kept Kriener and her staff busy giving special facial treatments at Posh's spot at 4325 Maine Ave. S.E., next to Fat Willy'sbar and grill. That's in the Shoppes on Mainearea.
Kriener, who has been a nurse for 17 years and still works part-time at Saint Marys Hospital, says opening Posh has long been a goal.
"I've been doing this for a few years," she said. "Then I decided to transition out of the in-patient setting in the hospital and open up my own business, kind of a pursue my own dream kind of a thing."
Posh offers a variety of medical grade facials, Botox and Juvéderm treatments, waxing and tinting services.

Kriener says her story is a pretty simple one.
"I've always been passionate about skin care. I soon realized I had a knack with that," she said. "I started out doing Botox parties and it grew into this."
Her 900-square-foot spa includes two treatment rooms and a reception area.
There are three, including Kriener, on staff at Posh, plus a visiting medical director who does more advanced treatments on a regular schedule.
Kriener has scheduled a grand opening featuring many product and service prizes on Oct. 10 at Posh.
