WINONA — No one was injured this morning when a Winona school bus slid into a ditch.
Winona County Sheriff Ron Ganrude said the bus got "caught on the lip of the road" and partially slid into the ditch. Nobody was hurt and the bus didn't appear to be damaged, but the driver was unable to immediately deliver the kids to school.
Ganrude said the children were taken to a nearby home to stay warm while another bus was dispatched to the scene to complete the bus route.
