MABEL — A Peterson woman was injured when she was involved with a broadside crash on an icy section of Minnesota Highway 43 near Mabel on Tuesday evening.
The State Patrol said Lynnette E. Pederson, 68, of Peterson, was driving east on the highway and Heidi A. Omodth, 62, of Mabel was driving west when their vehicles collided.
Pederson was taken to the hospital in Decorah, Iowa; Omodth had no apparent injuries.
The crash was reported at 7:17 p.m.
