A woman was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital — Saint Marys Campus after losing control of her car and rolling into a ditch on U.S. 52 Saturday afternoon.
Kristi Schmit, 22, of Maple Grove, was driving a Nissan Sentra north on U.S. 52 near Zumbrota at the time of the crash, which was reported at 2:22 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries, the patrol said.
