Two Level 3 predatory offenders have changed addresses, including one who is back in prison.

Joshua Lee Winsky, 23, was found to have violated the terms of release; he's been sent back to the Minnesota Department of Corrections for no less than one year, officials said.

Roger Allen Schmiedeberg, 63, moved Wednesday to the 800 block of Ninth Avenue Southeast. He's been living in transitional housing since his release from prison last month.

Schmiedeberg is white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 208 pounds and has gray hair and blue eyes.

He was convicted in 2010 of one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and sentenced to probation. The prison sentence was imposed in March 2012 after a probation violation. He was ordered to serve 24 months, with credit for 94 days served.

Schmiedeberg's crime involved sexual contact with an adult female victim, using force to gain compliance, police say. Court documents say he met the woman in a public place and later showed up at her home. The victim didn't know Schmiedeberg, who also has a prior history of sexual contact with minor victims, both male and female, records show.

According to state guidelines, Level 3 sex offenders are considered at the greatest risk to re-offend. Additional information regarding all Level 3 Predatory Offenders in MN can be found at http://www.doc.state.mn.us/level3/Search.asp.
