This year's Rochesterfest button design was chosen by you.
Voters made their choice on the festival's Facebook page. The winning design, by Heather Tollers, a professional graphic designer, incorporates the festival's 2011 theme, "Make Your Mark." The festival runs June 17-26.
Button sales raise money for the festival and for area charities, and wearers receive discounted admission and other considerations at festival events.
The buttons cost $4 and go on sale starting May 3. The initial sale is conducted by the charities exclusively. The buttons are distributed for wider sale starting May 31.

This year's contest, the 29th, had about 70 entries. Festival officials judged the top four of those designs to post on Facebook for voting. The contest is sponsored by Home Federal Bank.
Tollers won a $500 prize. She works for Community News Corp., which owns the Byron Review and Star Herald newspapers. She also owns a business, HT Designs.
