PINE ISLAND — An informational open house about the U.S. 52 interchange project at Elk Run, south of Pine Island, will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 13 at the Pine Island High School cafeteria. A short presentation will be given at 6 p.m.
Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions and provide project information about the upcoming construction season, roundabouts and the right-of-way acquisition schedule.
Major construction on the project will begin this spring and continue through fall 2013.
