An overturned semitrailer on U.S. Highway 63 in south Rochester delayed traffic for hours Monday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 52.
Crews were on the highway removing debris from the accident, so drivers headed southbound on U.S. 63 experienced delays until about 5:45 p.m. The Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted other agencies with the cleanup.
The semi-trailer, which was carrying scrap cars and other scrap metal, overturned between 2:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. The road was open again by about 6 p.m.
