Police: Four vehicles broken into in NW Rochester

Rochester police are investigating a group of vehicle break-ins that apparently occurred overnight Sunday.

Small personal items, including an iPod and wallet, were taken from vehicles parked in the 6100 and 6200 block of 24th Avenue Northwest, as well as the 6000 block and 6300 block of Granite Drive Northwest, the report says.

Every vehicle was parked in a driveway or on the road, said Capt. Brian Winters. Two of the vehicles were unlocked; the other two had their windows broken out, he said.

The thefts occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Sunday and 4:30 a.m. Monday.
