Police investigating converted Christian's journey

Police tell The Associated Press that they're investigating whether anyone broke the law in helping an Ohio runaway who said she feared physical harm for converting from Islam to Christianity.

Columbus police spokesman Sgt. Rich Weiner on Friday confirmed the investigation into how 17-year-old Rifqa Bary left Ohio and went to Florida.

Michigan lawyer Keith Corbett says he is representing Columbus minister Brian Williams in case he is asked to talk to police.

Bary's parents say Williams drove the girl to a bus station. No charges have been filed.

The teen is living with a Columbus foster family while she and her Muslim parents try to resolve their conflict.
