Here are the projects announced today by the Minnesota Department of Transportation to take place in the 2015 season.
The list contains about $214 million worth of work in the region. Statewide, MnDOT plans about $1 billion in construction work this spring, summer and fall.
1. U.S. Highway 14 in Steele, Dodge counties: Resurfacing, grading and lighting (I-35 to Hwy 56)
2. U.S. Highway 14 in Olmsted County: Roundabout (Hwy 14-Hwy 42 at Eyota)
3. U.S. Highway 14 in Steele County: Concrete pavement repair, shoulder replacement, (Owatonna, east and west of I-35)

4. Minnesota Highway 16 in Fillmore County: Historic wayside rest area rehabilitation. Inspiration Point, south of Lanesboro.
5. Minnesota Highway 19 in Rice County: Historic bridge rehabilitation near Carleton College
6. Minnesota Highway 26 in Houston County: Bridge replacement south of Brownsville
7. Interstate 35 in Steele, Freeborn counties: Unbonded concrete overlay, southbound lanes (Freeborn County Rd 23 to Hwy 30)
8. Interstate 35 in Rice, Scott counties: Intelligent Transportation System
9. Minnesota Highway 42 in Olmsted, Wabasha counties: Resurfacing (Hwy 14, Eyota to Hwy 247, Plainview)
10. Minnesota Highway 44 in Houston County: Slope restoration, retaining wall reconstruction (Hokah)
11. U.S. Highway 52 in Olmsted County: Intelligent Transportation System (north of Rochester)

15. & 16. U.S. Highway 61 in Goodhue County: Grade and surface south of Red Wing, add left turn lanes and remove accesses at Sevastopal and Wacouta roads;
16. U.S. Highway 61 in Goodhue County: Resurface from ready mix entrance to Highway 19 in Red Wing
17. U.S. Highway 61 in Goodhue County: Reconstruction, median and pedestrian safety improvement (Red Wing)
18. U.S. Highway 63 in Fillmore County: Concrete pavement repairs, Iowa border to Spring Valley
19. U.S. Highway 63 in Olmsted County: Resurfacing, grading from Hwy 30 west to 28th St. S. in Rochester

29. Interstate 35 in Steele County (carryover project): Replace bridges and reconstruct pavement on northbound lanes (Owatonna)
30. Minnesota Highway 43 in Fillmore County (carryover project): Grade and resurface in Rushford.
31. Minnesota Highway 43 in Winona County (carryover project): Bridge rehabilitation, new bridge construction (Winona)
32. Interstate 90 in Winona County (carryover project): Replace Dresbach Bridge over the Mississippi River
