On Friday at 8 p.m., barricades and signs will be set up closing 55th Street Northwest to both east and west bound traffic at the bridge over U.S. 52 for the weekend.
The north and south bound ramps to exit or enter U.S. 52 will also be closed for the weekend.
The weekend closure is necessary to perform concrete pavement rehabilitation in the intersections of the highway ramps and 55th Street Northwest.
Traffic on 55th Street Northwest will be detoured on both east and west frontage roads and 41st Street Northwest during the rehab work.
Southbound U.S. 52 traffic wishing to exit at 55th Street will be detoured to the exit at 41st Street Northwest, while northbound U.S. 52 traffic wishing to exit on 55th Street Northwest will be detoured at 37th Street Northwest.

U.S. 52 and 55th Street Northwest traffic will be reopened by 5:30 a.m. Monday.
