A free clinic to provide education about heart health, cancer health and wellness will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Oak Park Mall.
The event, hosted by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, will include displays with informational literature about health concerns, professional speakers, blood pressure checks, chair massages and door prizes.
To nominate someone to walk the male runway, a $10 donation will be accepted. He can opt out — for an additional donation — or be outfitted in red, white and/or pink women's clothing to mingle with the crowd and raise funds for heart health, cancer health and wellness.
The local Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are Kathy Wichmann, Amanda Wichmann and Laura Tjomsland.
