Crack-filling work on U.S. 14 will close lanes on the highway over the next few days, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reports.
The maintenance work, already underway, will take place today until 4 p.m. between Marion Road and U.S. 52 in Rochester. It continues tomorrow, from 7 a.m. to dusk, from U.S. 52 west to Byron. If delayed by weather, work will continue on Monday.
The crack-filling will narrow U.S. 14 to a single lane in each direction in the location of the work. The work provides long-term protection for the road surface.
