The Rochester Downtown Farmers Market will not have a Wednesday market this year after all.
Last year, the Wednesday market was held in the Kmart parking lot. This year, that market was canceled, in part due to a corporate change at Kmart, said David Kotsonas, farmers market manager.
A new midweek market, however, is up and running from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays at 37th Street and Ninth Avenue Northwest, near Hy-Vee North. That’s in addition to the Saturday market, which is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Fourth Street and Fourth Avenue Southeast.
