A Rochester man is in custody after police allegedly found him just about to sell meth to two women.
Bradley Richards, 32, was wanted on a parole violation and had a warrant for his arrest for possession of controlled substances, according to Rochester Police Capt. John Sherwin.
Undercover police officers spotted Richards around 10 a.m. Wednesday, near Seventh Street and North Broadway at a gas station. There, officers observed him get in the back seat of a vehicle, and then out again.
When the same scenario happened a second time, officers intervened. Richards allegedly acknowledged he was going to sell methamphetamine to the two women in the vehicle, Sherwin said. Ten grams of meth were found on Richards, and he was arrested.
In addition to the outstanding warrant, Richards could now face third-degree controlled substance sale charges, Sherwin said.
