Rochester man set for sentencing after sexual assault convictions

A Rochester man who was convicted Wednesday of sexually assaulting a girl several times will be sentenced in January.

An Olmsted County District Court jury convicted Reginald Dwayne Clark, 39, of first-degree and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Jurors found him not guilty of two other counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The charges involved the same victim but different incidents between 2005 and 2007. The victim was younger than 13. Judge Kevin Lund presided at the trial and set sentencing for Jan. 3.

This is the second time Clark was tried on the charges. The first ended in a mistrial in March when jurors couldn't agree on a verdict.
