Two Rochester men were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in southeast Rochester.
According to Rochester Fire Department and Rochester Police Department reports, a van driven by Robert Owen Lee, 78, crossed Broadway at the 28th Street Southeast intersection and collided with another vehicle.
The second vehicle, driven by Anthony Allen Herald, 43, held two passengers, John Palmer Dunham, 45, and Christopher Lloyd Volkart, 42. The two passengers were injured and transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital — Saint Marys Campus by Gold Cross ambulance, according to police Capt. John Sherwin.
All four people involved in the accident were extracted from the vehicles, Larry Mueller, assistant fire marshal, said.
A police mapping unit is investigating the crash. No citations have been filed, pending the investigation, Sherwin said.
