Brooke Bass is the Rochester Public Schools' new executive director of human resources.
Bass replaces Judy McDonald, who held the job for a year and half before accepting a post in the Osseo School District in January.
An attorney, Bass recently served as a lead human resources representative with Bruno Law. She also served as a chief negotiator with Law Enforcement Labor Services, a union that specializes in representing law enforcement personnel.
As director of human resources, Bass will serve as the district's chief negotiator in contract talks with the district's unions.
"Brooke is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in both private practice and public sector human resources," Rochester Superintendent Michael Muñoz told the Rochester School Board during his introduction of Bass.
