Rollingstone woman injured in two-car crash in Winona

WINONA— A Rollingstone woman was injured in a two-car crash in Winona on Wednesday.

Around 9:36 a.m. Debra Posey, 66, was northbound on US Highway 61. She stopped at Huff Street and was preparing to make a left turn. While Posey was making the turn, a southbound car — driven by Chelsea Bennett, 29, of Winona — struck Posey’s vehicle in the intersection, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

There were three other passengers in Bennett’s vehicle, including Casey Bennett, 27, of Winona, a 5-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl, according to the report. All escaped injury from the crash.

Posey, however, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Winona Health System for treatment.
