Seven cars stolen from Rochester dealer

Sometime overnight Thursday, thieves stole seven vehicles from Tom Kadlec Honda Used Cars in the 4400 block of U.S. Highway 52 North.

When employees arrived at work on Friday, they noticed laptops were missing, a few tools were gone, and all the desk drawers were ransacked. They also found seven sets of keys missing, and with them, seven cars.

The cars include a $64,000 Porsche, a $17,000 Hummer, a $14,000 Ford Edge, a $18,000 Toyota, a $14,500 Chevy truck, and a $20,000 Honda CRV.

While police were processing the scene, one of the employees left to search the area. At about 10:20 a.m. on the 27th, the employee found the Porsche parked in the parking lot of McDonald's, on 19th Street Northeast.

At 2:10 p.m. the same day, two other employees found four more of the vehicles parked in the parking lot of the Ray Mar Hotel, on the 1400 block of 2nd Street. Two male suspects fled out the window of a hotel room when they noticed the employees' interest in the cars.
