Sewer repairs start Monday

Repair work is scheduled to start Monday on several sanitary sewer mainlines in southeast and northeast Rochester.

The work, lasting four to six weeks, is being done by a private contractor, Visu-Sewer.

Work is planned in these locations:

• In the 400 block of First Avenue Northeast.

• In the 100 and 200 blocks of Seventh Avenue Southeast.

• In the 400 block of Fourth Avenue Southeast.

• On several blocks of Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Second Avenue and Third Avenue Southeast, near Mayo Clinic's Fullerton parking lot.

The contractor believes the work will minimally disrupt traffic. Some of the work will be performed at night.
