Sexual assault reported in Kutzky neighborhood

Rochester police have received another report of a sexual assault in the Kutzky Park neighborhood. This one happened a day after a teenager was arrested in connection with three recent assaults in the area.

The most recent assault allegedly happened on Sept. 19 but wasn't reported to law enforcement officers until Tuesday, according to Capt. Brian Winters.

A 24-year-old woman reported to police that she was walking in the 800 block of Second Street Southwest early on Sept. 19 when she was pulled into a large white van and sexually assaulted by at least two people. The woman was unable to provide descriptions of the suspects, Winters said.

The assault came hours after police arrested a 17-year-old boy who allegedly has admitted that he was involved in incidents on May 4, July 1 and Sept. 12 in which victims reported sexual assaults in the neighborhood. He was arrested Sept. 18 and was in custody at the time of the Sept. 19 incident.
