A report of shots fired early Saturday resulted in no apparent injuries — but one of the rounds entered a nearby apartment, authorities said.
Rochester police responded at 12:04 a.m. to 830 21st Ave. SE, where they found several people leaving a party. Officers learned two women had been fighting at the party, and shots were fired during or after the fight, the report says.
Not much more information was provided, said Capt. John Sherwin; officers checked the area, and could find nothing related to the shooting.
The next evening, officers were called back to the apartment complex, where residents in the 803 building had found a bullet hole in their living room wall.
They'd been gone the night before, the report says; an officer found a second bullet hole in a third-floor hallway window of the same building.

No one has come forward with any injuries related to the incident; the gun may have been fired into the air, Sherwin said.
The investigation is ongoing.
