STILLWATER — Officials plan to reopen the Stillwater Lift Bridge on Monday afternoon as floodwaters subside on the St. Croix River.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says it will reopen the bridge at 3 p.m. Monday, April 18. MnDOT closed the bridge on April 8 as rising waters approached the bridge deck, threatening the electrical lift motors beneath the deck.
About 18,000 motorists use the bridge daily.
