Store window broken, safe stolen

A small safe was stolen Thursday night from J D Coin in the Miracle Mile shopping center, according to the Rochester Police Department.

An alarm was activated when the front window was broken around 9:20 p.m., said Lt. Dan Muyres. Nothing was taken other than the safe, and the display case was left untouched Muyres said.

The employee who reported the burglary did not know what was in the safe, Muyres said.
