Two hurt in rural Winona County crash

WINONA — Two men were injured Friday night in a three-car crash that occurred in rural Winona County.

All three vehicles were traveling west on Minnesota Highway 248 just after 5 p.m. when the crash occurred, according to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report. It's unclear what caused the crash or what order the vehicles were traveling in when the crash occurred.

Anton Rovinson, 40, of Clarksdale, Miss., was injured while driving one of the cars. Isiah Johnsons, 37, of Bayport, Minn., was injured while riding in Rovinson's passenger seat.

Both men were transported to Winona Health for care of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the incident report. An updated condition was not available during the weekend..

Two residents of Rollingstone were driving the other vehicles, and both drivers were unharmed in the crash. The drivers were 61-year-old Gayle Arndt and 66-year-old Mary Cummings.
