The Rochester Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial Committee and Post-Bulletin are seeking stories and photos for a Veterans Day Special Edition magazine.
This Veterans Day, Nov. 11, the special edition magazine will focus on terrorism — "Always Remember 9/11."
People who have served in the Armed Forces from any conflict are encouraged to send their stories and photos to Sue Johnson at suefj1@gmail.com or mail to 6423 Granite Dr. NW, Rochester, MN 55901. Stories should be submitted by Aug. 1 and be 750 words or less.
Individual photos of those who have served are also an important part of the magazine.
Mail photos to: Advertising/Honor A Veteran, Post Bulletin Co., 18 1st Ave SE, Rochester, MN, 55904. Include a check for $20 if the photo has not been previously run in this section or $15 if the photo has appeared in the past. If desired, put a note requesting that the photo appear with other Vietnam Veterans, Korean War Veterans etc. If you wish the photo to be returned, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

Businesses and organizations interested in putting their messages in the magazine should contact Barb Flicker at 285-7781 for information regarding size and pricing. The message will reach more than 40,000 homes in this area, plus 5,000 visitors to Rochester.
