Victim-assistance training offered

Training for volunteers interested in becoming crisis line advocates for victims of sexual assault is being offered in Rochester in July.

The 40-hour training course runs from July 12 to 21. Training is offered in Rochester at no charge. The application deadline is July 6.

After completing training, volunteers can assist the Sexual Assault Program of Victim Services, which offers support to survivors of sexual assault in Dodge, Fillmore and Olmsted counties.
