VIOLA — The 138th annual Viola Gopher Count celebration begins today in Viola with a 5K run/walk at 6:15 p.m., a local talent show and fireworks at dusk.
Things shift into high gear on Thursday, with a parade at 10 a.m., soap box derby races, crowning of Gopher County royalty, games for the kids, and a street dance (rain or shine).
