WABASHA — Because of the blizzard that is expected to hit Wabasha with a lot of snow, the Grumpy Old Men Festival is advising that no one bring their boat to the city for the Saturday celebration.
"We know that our part of the Mississippi River is open and beautiful at this time," the Wabasha-Kellogg Chamber of Commerce said. "And we know that you have been itching to take out your boat for four months now… but this weekend it not the weekend."
The annual festival includes kickball, cribbage, poker, minnow races, ice-fishing contest and Grumpy Plunge. For more information, go to wabashamn.org .
