WABASHA — The 35th annual Wabasha County Forestry Day will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the Wabasha VFW, 138 E. Second St.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
This the 100th anniversary of the Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry and the 50th anniversary of the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest. The morning presentations will highlight milestones of both.
The luncheon speaker will be Steve Swenson of the Aldo Leopold Foundation who will speak about how landowners can improve their woods.
