U.S. Rep. Tim Walz is hosting a "Congress on Your Corner" event Monday at a Winona grocery store.
The Democrat from Mankato, who represents Minnesota's 1st Congressional District, has had these types of events in the past but began holding them again recently in honor of his colleague, U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, after she was shot and seriously wounded at a similar event in January..
Walz will meet with constituents from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Midtown Foods, 126 E. 5th St.
