A 28-year-old Brooklyn Park man could face charges of promoting prostitution after he was arrested in Rochester on Wednesday, according to police.
The man was in town with his brother, who is wanted on a felony warrant and was described as a noncompliant predatory offender, according to Lt. Dan Muyres.
Police conducted surveillance and discovered that a 28-year-old woman who was in Rochester with the two men had an online advertisement that offered her as prostitute, Muyres said.
The 22-year-old brother of the Brooklyn Park man, who has no known address, was arrested on his warrants around 5 p.m. in the 4100 block of Maine Avenue Southeast.
The woman told police that the Brooklyn Park man had put the advertisements online without her knowledge, leading to the Brooklyn Park man's arrest, Muyres said.
