Winona police search for missing WSU student

WINONA — The Winona Police Department is asking for help in locating a 19-year-old Winona State University student who is missing.

Chukwudi Benjamin Onyeaghala, a freshman from White Bear Lake, was last seen on Friday,

According to Winona police, Onyeaghala was seen on video walking eastbound on Marks Street near the WSU library at 9:51 p.m. Friday. No vehicles are registered in his name, and attempts to reach him via phone and social media have been unsuccessful.

Onyeaghala is 5-foot-7, weighing 135 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, according to Winona police. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Winona County Law Enforcement Center at 507-457-6492.
