STEWARTVILLE -- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s and Stewartville Fire Department spent time this morning searching for a missing person, Arla Bernard, 79.
Minutes after sending a notice about the search and requesting that the public not clog the rural roads in the search area, the sheriff's office reported that Bernard had been found alive near her residence in the 9300 block of 43rd Avenue SE in Pleasant Grove.
Bernard, who has dementia, was last seen by relatives about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. She was believed to be wearing pajama-type clothing and no shoes.
