STEWARTVILLE — An Illinois woman was injured Wednesday in a multi-car crash east of Stewartville.
Bella Y. Baz, 68, of Wenona, Ill., was riding in a northbound car driven by her 68-year-old husband, Samuel, when their vehicle collided with a westbound pickup on Olmsted County Road 1 at Minnesota Highway 30, east of Stewartville, about 5:40 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The car and the pickup, which was driven by Randy J. Trogstad, 49 of Chatfield, hit a car driven by Susan E. Durgin, 48, of Spring Valley, and that car was hit by a car driven by Tamara J. Johnston, 49, of Spring Valley.
Bella Baz was taken to Saint Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A Mayo Clinic spokeswoman said she was not listed as a patient this morning. No one else was hurt.
