A woman reported to Rochester Police that a gun was pulled on her at a downtown stoplight early Saturday.

A Rochester Police officer sitting in a lot in the 400 block of Fourth Street Southeast around 2:40 a.m. Sunday took a report from an 18-year-old who said she just had a gun pulled on her while at a stoplight at the intersection of Civic Center Drive and East Center Street, Rochester Police Capt. John Sherwin said.

The woman told the officer that she had noticed the car, described as a smaller, gold-colored car, had been following her car for about a block before a passenger in the car pointed a gun at her, Sherwin said. The car then continued to follow her vehicle until she pulled into the gas station parking lot where the officer was parked, Sherwin said.

The woman told police she did not know why the incident occurred but said she used to hang around with a bad crowd, according to Sherwin.
