WINONA — A Buffalo City, Wis., woman was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in the Twin Cities to 14 months in prison after pleading guilty to using a credit card from TRW Automotive in Winona to buy more than $238,000 of personal items.
Eve Marie Kaczorowski, 50, admitted she made 367 unauthorized purchases between June 2006 and July 2007 and billed them to TRW, according to the Minneapolis-based Star Tribune.
Because she used the Internet to buy from Wal-Mart and Best Buy, she was charged with wire fraud, a federal crime.
She had a TRW credit card because she was a purchasing agent and recorded the purchases as business related.
