The Experimental Aircraft Association is offering a " Young Eagles Rally" Saturday to give young people the chance to experience flying and aviation.
Pilots have ten planes lined up to take kids ages 8-17 for flights around Rochester, from Rochester International Airport. The event will begin at 9 a.m.
The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give young people the opportunity to go flying in a general aviation plane, according to EAA.
Registration should be completed ahead of time. For more information or to register, contact Dan Crandall at 507-271-9898 or at dan@gigtech.com. Or visit www.eaa.org.
