A blinding blizzard roared in from the west with frigid conditions and has paralyzed travel. A baby girl was born at home rather than at a hospital to Mrs. Vernon Sleihler. Nine-foot snowdrifts kept Dr. C.M. Robilliard away from the house which is 4 miles from Faribault. Instead, he gave instructions over the phone to the mother of Mrs. Sleihler and the baby was born at 2:30 a.m. Everyone is doing nicely.
