Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center has received $18,600 from Rochester Area Foundation to offer laboratory services at its new primary care clinic to those who cannot afford them.
"Laboratory services are a critical element in determining how to properly care for an individual," said Dave Cook, chief executive officer. "This funding will allow our primary care clinicians to diagnose common illnesses and conditions which will enhance the medical treatment these patients
receive."
The money will let the center offer those services to more people.
