Arlene A. Boysen - Hayfield
HAYFIELD — The funeral service for Arlene Alice Boysen will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church, 109 Main St. E., with Reverend Charlie Talcott officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
Arlene Boysen, 74, of Hayfield, passed on June 20, 2010, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Arlene Alice Titrington was born on September 18, 1935, the daughter of Everett and Alice (Winter) Titrington, near Elgin. She attended country schools in the Eyota and St. Charles area. She was united in marriage to Paul LaVerne Radke Jr., and he preceded her death in 1962. She married Wayne Boysen on June 27, 1964.
Arlene worked in the kitchen at Fieldcrest Care Center for over 15 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, served on the church Session, was chairman of a ladies service group, member of ladies circle, and was on the nominating committee. Arlene enjoyed her family and friends, gardening, helping with farm work, playing cards, dancing, bowling, cooking, and her pets.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Boysen, Hayfield; children, Craig (Connie) Boysen, Rochester, Cozy (Gary) Hoover, Farmington, Ill., Steven (Joyce Quast) Boysen, Apple Valley, Minn., Tom (Robin) Radke, Dodge Center, Paula (Michael) Hofstad, Pine Island, Tim (Connie) Radke, Rosemount, Minn., Kim Pribula, Bloomington, Minn.; sister, Lois Toogood, Rochester; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Radke Jr.; 3 sisters and 1 son.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd St. N.W., Hayfield, and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
