Audrey M. Starkson - Le Sueur

Audrey M. Starkson, 78, of Le Sueur, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at the Minnesota Valley Health Facility in Le Sueur.

Audrey was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Viola Township, to Ervin and Leona (Behnken) Rosolack. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1953. She married Marlowe Starkson on Nov. 20, 1953, in Byron, and the couple lived in Viola until 1977. They then moved to Le Sueur where Audrey was employed by ADC, retiring in 1998.

Audrey is survived by her children, Pamela (Dan) Shones, of Elgin, Darrell (Susan) Starkson, of Apple Valley, Gary (Julie) Starkson, of Lester Prairie, Julie (Oren) Olsen, of Nicollet, and Kay (Keith) Allen, of Viola; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce (Donald) Engler, of Elgin, and Linda Nedbalek, of Chino Valley, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marlowe, who died Oct. 3, 1987; one brother, Lyle; sister-in-law, Dorothy Rosolack; and one brother-in-law, William Nedbalek.

A private memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview, with Mr. William Wohlers officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Viola.
