Austin - Juelene M. 'Julie' Moore

Juelene M. Moore "Julie" age 64, of Brownsdale, Minn. died Friday Jan. 29, 2010, at the Austin Medical Center, after a long battle with COPD.

She was born October 27, 1945, in International Falls, Minn., to Spencer and Ruth Ames. The family then relocated to the Rochester area where she attended elementary school. She then moved to Eyota where she attended middle and high school. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Julie and Don where married on June 6, 1981, in Sargeant, Minn. where they lived and raised their family together until 1998 when they moved to Brownsdale, Minn.

Julie enjoyed camping, bonfires, playing cards with her husband and children, Sunday family rides, garage saling, eagle watching, canoeing, and karaoke with her best friend Margie.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Craig Elliot officiating. Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday for one hour before the service.

She is survived by her husband: Don Moore, Brownsdale, Minn.; children:Timothy Yeadon, Northfield, Minn., Kevin Yeadon, Rochester, Minn.; Marie Moore, Brownsdale, Minn., Donnie Moore, Brownsdale, Minn.; 2 stepdaughters: Donna Moore, Rochester, Minn., Charmaine Moore, Oklahoma, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother: Bill (Mary) Petroff, Red Wing, Minn., nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Summer.
