Barbara J. Weinmann - Austin

Barbara J. Weinmann, 76, of Austin, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Sacred Heart Care Center where she was a resident.

Barbara was born Jan. 25, 1936, in Mason City, Iowa, to Roy and Geraldine Tapager. She attended high school in Austin.

Barbara enjoyed traveling, golf and bingo. She was a member of the Eagles where she was involved with the drill team.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie (Roger) Holloway, Turner, Ore., and Deborah Meyer, Rochester; three sons, Robert (Michelle) Tracy, Red Wing, James P. Tracy, Vero Beach, Fla., and Christian (Heidi) Tracy, Waseca; son-in-law, David D. Meyer, Austin; 10 step-children; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two aunts. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert Tracy and Gerald Weinmann; and brother, Tom Tapager.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, with Father Donald Zenk officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Monday. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
