Betty L. Tradup — Rochester

Betty L. Tradup, 85, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Golden Living Center East in Rochester.

Betty was born in Dover on Sept. 4, 1928, to Archie and Loraine (Armstrong) Drake. She moved to Rochester in 1936 and graduated from Rochester High School in 1946. Betty married Henry Tradup on Nov. 24, 1949, in Rochester. Henry died on May 5, 1985. Betty worked at Mayo Clinic for 29 years as a desk attendant.

She loved collecting, babysitting and spending time with her great friends at the Salvation Army and Rochester.

Betty is survived by three nieces, Debra (Brian) Hall of High Point, N.C., Brenda (Paul) Rasmussen of Inver Grove Heights and Beverly (Mark) Prueher of St. Cloud; and a nephew, James P. Lewis of Inver Grove Heights.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her parents; and a brother, James W. Lewis.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
