Beverly J. 'Bev' Tscharner - Rochester

ROCHESTER — Beverly J. "Bev" Tscharner, 76, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at her home.

Beverly Joan Stephenson was born Nov. 20, 1933, to Melvin and Leitha (O'Connor) Stephenson in Morrill, Neb. Bev graduated from Morrill High School and later from the University of Omaha, Lincoln, Neb., with a teaching degree. She taught Kindergarten and was also a longtime homemaker. Bev was also a volunteer for many years at the Rochester Methodist Hospital Auxiliary "Pink Lady" throughout the campus of Mayo Clinic.

She enjoyed dogs and gardening; but she especially enjoyed life and spending time with her family and many friends.

Bev is survived by her daughter, Nancy Tscharner, Rochester, and her son, Mark (Connie Sue) Tscharner, West Bend, Wis.; her grandson, Nathan (Danielle) Tscharner, Hartford, Wis.; and her brother, Jim Stephenson, Omaha, Neb. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill.

A private family remembrance and burial will take place at a later date.
