Bonnie R. Dorn -- Lewiston

Bonnie R. Dorn, 64, of Lewiston, died on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Care Center in Lake City.

Bonnie was born on July 22, 1949, in Rochester to Harry and Rose (Tireman) Fitch. On Dec. 7, 1986, she was united in marriage with Marlo Dorn at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewiston; he preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 2010.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Dorcas Society. Bonnie worked for Daniel's Restaurant in Kasson as the kitchen manager.

Riding and having her own motorcycle was one of her favorite activities, along with working with ceramics and taking ceramics classes. Her children, grandchildren, and her faith in Jesus Christ were most important to her.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Tammy (Darius) Thooft of Sartell, Chuck (Jennica) Gray of St. Charles and Andrea (Michael) Baird of Owings Mills Md.; stepchildren, Richard (Kathy) Dorn of Utica, Ben (Alayne) Dorn of Lewiston, Karl Dorn of Lewiston and Martin (Jeni) Dorn of Rollingstone; 15 grandchildren; brothers, Dan (Dianne) Fitch of Rochester and Gary (Darla) Fitch of Kasson; sister, Cheryl Fitch of Rochester; sister-in-law, Eileen (Lance) Hislop of Homer; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlo, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewiston, with the Revs. Michael A. Lindemann and the John Dermé officiating.

Bonnie will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until time of service at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
